"Shady, gutless management. I had a crazy neighbor--the only one with a Ring camera on her door, pointed directly at mine--who repeatedly played her music loud late at night and threatened my life when I asked her to stop. I asked management to resolve the situation but they didn't. My mistake was not staying in the apartment and suing them for breach of contract instead of allowing them to let me break the lease and keeping my security deposit--I just wanted to get out. But I found something better so it's all good. There's always justice, even if you don't see it served. Be careful about leasing from these people. I needed something asap so I settled. Try to do your research and find out who is living near and across from you. And if you run into problems and management doesn't remedy the situation, sue them into doing what's right."

"DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!! This company is an ABSOLUTE RIP OFF! First and foremost, the office staff is RUDE. JILL L. and SARAH S. from Westgate are ignorant and uneducated having ZERO respect for the tenants of this property. This company will charge you a $300 fee PER ANIMAL that won’t cover a single thing in the apartment! Also, if you have to move whether it be for work or the military it’s an approval process?! You have to pay two months worth of rent for breaking lease PLUS the two months of staying there and hoping you get your deposit back! After moving out I was billed an ADDITIONAL $800 for charges to “replace the carpet.” Yet, I watched them remove carpet from EVERY SINGLE APARTMENT that someone else moved out of regardless if they had an animal or not! So, don’t drop anything on that carpet or you will be paying $700 PER ROOM to replace the carpet. For someone who worked in home improvement, the terrible carpet that is used in these rental units isn’t worth that. In total, I was charged $3,800 in ADDITIONAL “FEES” for terminating a lease early, “allowing” to have two dogs, and now having to replace the carpet, which would have been done regardless if I had dogs or not. Oh, don’t try to get an emotional support animal certification because they will try to call it fake and ask for all of your private health information. I REPEAT, DO NOT RENT FROM WESTGATE OR THE APARTMENT GALLERY."

"I never had issues at this apartment until I moved out. I cleaned everything top to bottom to ensure I got my entire deposit back. I gave them proper notice and was charged $220 for insufficient notice when I gave them a proper 60 day notice that they acknowledged. Now no one is answering the phone or emails to correct their mistake. This is not okay! Update: Michele Orlof is stating that because they requested my keys early during the move out inspection I was charged. I paid for the entirety of my lease and they are making up numbers to charge me with. Update: April Corbett just informed me to take Legal action to get this resolved as she refused to give me upper managements information. Update: Attempted to mediate this issue through services provided by the state of Maryland and was refused by April. Will be attempting to reach out to management once last time before taking this further."

"IVE BEEN HERE APPROXIMATELY 3 months & they have been PHENOMENAL to me. Maintenance came any time I’ve had an issue within a great timely manner! Pools & grounds are kept clean & nice, staff is so friendly. Convenient to so many shopping centers. Very safe neighborhood for my son as well. No complaints here. Already thinking about renewing my lease and it’s only been 3 months! Also love that they allow animals! Definitely love it here!"

"Legends at the beach is a great place to live. Our neighbors are super friendly and the ladies in the office are always super helpful. Lino the maintenance guy is quick and super helpful and understanding. Its dog friendly and our apartment was clean and beautiful at move in. Our second floor balcony is huge and overlooks the pool area. We are super glad we took the chance on legends at the beach!"
