Powder Mill Apartments

"We have lived here for 15 months now and I cannot say enough positive things about our experiences and impressions. The setting is delightful: park-like lawns, landscaping, and mature trees are maintained lovingly year-round. Extraordinarily near two exits off I-83 yet do not necessarily feel aware of this. Within a close mile and a half of dozens of eateries, super markets, two movie theaters, six pharmacies, and shopping. Within 15 minutes of the entire city and its surrounding neighborhoods, and everything they offer - including at least a dozen parks and lakes for hiking and other activities. The community of Powder Mill Apartments offers regular, frequent opportunities for us to socialize and celebrate each other. The community room is available for private use just by the asking. The pool and it's staff are well maintained and quite enjoyable. Mail is delivered to each apartment, rather than having to walk to a common space with a key. Trash is collected twice weekly, as is our recycling. The extraordinary folks who get to work here seem to stay. Lucky us. Whether they clean, repair, build, maintain, design, tend, help, organize, or create, the staff as a whole are simply professional and kind. Apartments are clustered in buildings of only four homes, often attached to another building of four. We have neighbors. And many of us have been here for years. Some of us move on more frequently, as needs must. We are a true community. Was I right: I cannot say enough?"

"I’m really happy living here. The maintenance staff is amazing. I recently had an issue with my thermostat not turning on, but, of course, when Mario came to look at it, it came on immediately. I told him it had been giving me problems for a while and so he replaced it with an updated thermostat that works so much better. Its nice having a place where they care about their residents and their property."

"A number of years ago, my grandparents sold their home and moved to Powder Mill Manor. I have many memories of the good times there with them… on the playground, in the pool, and stopping by for a visit. Recently, I considered moving there. I spoke to a lovely girl named Brittany who gave me all the information I needed to know to help make my decision. I was told that the type of apartment I wanted would become available in a month, so I put down my Security Deposit. I decided to forgo apartment living, only because I want to purchase my own home. I spoke with Brittney twice throughout this very stressful time. She could not have been any nicer! She was very caring, extremely pleasant, and always most accommodating. I was pleased to learn that they will refund my security deposit. I hope that Powder Mill Manor realizes what outstanding personnel they have working for them. I would encourage others to consider choosing Powder Mill. It is a beautiful place to live and they will be treated with great care and consideration."

"I have been a resident of Powder Mill Apartments for over four years. Looking to downsize I sold my home and tried apartment living and am so glad I did. This is a really friendly community. The office and managers are great and always helpful. My neighbors are great. Its a quiet area to live and conveniently located. My apartment is cozy and any maintenance issues, rare in my experience, are quickly handled. Activities are offered, quite a few food events provided to residents and my favorite, a really nice outdoor pool! I love it here!!"

"I toured apartments in York with my fiance after he graduate college. After looking at several in different price ranges, we decided on Powder Mill because of the wonderful and welcoming apartment manager, Tina. We couldn't ask for a better living environment. The complex is kept well up to date by it's amazing staff. It's biggest perks are the pool and maintenance staff. The pool is kept sparkling clean and is never over clorinated. Tina and her staff often throw holiday parties and special events for the residents. Put in a maintenance request and within a day Dan and his team will be right over to fix it! Powder Mill's amenities make it well worth the rent!"
