"Late 2023// Google asked for another update. Dog is now 3 years old. He's at Coco Clips as we speak. Still a happy customer. Early 2023// Google asked me to update my review, so here's the update. My dog still goes to coco clips, he still adores them, and I'm still a happy customer. He's been going every 4-6 weeks since he was like 12 weeks old, and he's now two and a half. Added a second more recent photo. Original// My dog goes to Coco Clips every month for a bath and a haircut, and he absolutely adores them. He rushes to the door in a full body wiggle and promptly forgets all about me. He cannot get through the door fast enough. In their online photos, I immediately noticed an uncanny lack of stress signals in the dogs' body language and expressions. Instead, the dogs generally look relaxed or happy. For a dog breed that requires significant grooming for life, my top priority is that it shouldn't stress him out any more than necessary. From the human side of the experience, they're also patient with me. This is my first curly grooming-required dog, and their communication with me has been invaluable. They gave tips over the phone about desensitizing gently to grooming before my dog went in for his first puppy appointment as a baby. They somehow make sense of my vague descriptions ("umm...slightly shorter than last time?") and ask followup questions until they get a feel for what the heck I actually want. They give me straightforward answers about what parts of the process my dog seemed happy or uneasy about. Oh, and my dog always looks good when I pick him up. Clean, dry, tidy. The attached photo is from a grooming day at his peak wiggly age, around 6 months old. Make your appointments early. Their appointment slots can fill up several weeks out during peak seasons."

"This review is long over due for how strongly I feel about sharing our experience. We entrusted Coco Clips with our 9 month old Golden Retriever for her first professional groom (only baths at home) and PJ went above and beyond in not only her treatment but the care she received. You can tell they truly care about your pet as if they are their own and want what is best for them. I received a mid-appointment check in text inclusive of a photo of our happy girl. Upon pickup, we were even sent home with cotton balls of a product to help our pup until we could purchase what we needed. Our puppy has never looked prettier, smelled cleaner or been happier - we will forever recommend Coco Clips to all our friends and family with furry friends! (I swear she's happy in these photos, just focused on the treat I was dangling for her to pose)"
