"Moldy strawberries on the shelves - not just a little mold on the bottom, that can occur quite quickly, but large patches of mold visible from the top without needing to pick up the container. Slim pickings among other produce items as well. I waited for a self-checkout kiosk to open and began the process (scanning Giant Card) only for the staff member to tell me to go a different kiosk. She was rude and bossy and offered no explanation as to why the kiosk I was at (the first to become available) would not work. I truly give up. Grocery shopping should never be so difficult and frustrating and rob you of your dignity. This is not the first time the shopping and checkout process has been way more difficult than it needs to be. There have been so many times that food is expired or the frozen foods are completely freezer burned and I don't notice until I unpack grocery bags at home. At that point it's not worth the time burden of bringing it back to exchange or return. It is a shame, it could be so convenient with this location being so close to my home, but I will have to drive farther and find a different grocery store. With moldy produce on the shelves at Cardinal Forest Giant, it may be comparable in terms of product quality to go dumpster diving."
