Hyatt Place Sterling/Dulles Airport-North

"I will never stay at a Hyatt again for how I was treated by this staff. My son was coming home from Spain and his flight was delayed. I was told there was a free shuttle to take him back and forth to and from the airport because he was flying to PIT the next morning for the last leg of his flight. My son called Hyatt place to pick him up at the airport to shuttle him back to the hotel and they never ended up picking him up. They said they drove by the airport and there was no one there to pick up so they left. My son was waiting there for 25 minutes and he never saw them drive past. He and I both called the hotel back and asked where they were and they said they made their last trip to the airport for the night and they couldn’t pick him up. I was extremely frustrated with them…The worker hung up on me. Meanwhile they never told me that 11pm was the last trip they would make when I made the reservation. I assumed they would run as long as someone needed picked up. This certainly is not good customer service. I travel a lot and have never experienced anything like this."

"Wedding block of rooms. We coordinated with Hyatt Place for a room block for our nearby 10/21/23 wedding. The coordination was excellent, and the service was top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our guests were happy with their rooms and accomodations. We definitely recommend using this hotel for wedding room blocks and other events!"

"Good news first: the staff was super nice, I was able to check in a couple hours early (thx to Hyatt status), and slept moderately well. Breakfast was okay. Challenges: - Bathroom was dark; odd location in room; loud fan - Internet was terrible - used my phone hotspot - Noise from street was really loud, even though it was in an office park (unsure how this is possible) - Noise from hallway was also really loud; housekeeping opened and let doors slam over and over again"

"It's not a bad hotel by any means, but it is ready for a remodel. I was here for just a night and it was fine. I would say that if you're not a Globalist, you might as well stay at the Hyatt Place or House."

"Extremely Disappointing Experience I recently stayed at this hotel for an extended period of over 10 nights, and I must say, my experience left much to be desired. The most concerning issue was the state of the elevator - it was in terrible condition and felt unsafe to use. To make matters worse, I discovered that the safety certificate for the elevator had expired a shocking five months ago. This is a major safety concern and should have been addressed promptly. The cleanliness standards in the room were far from satisfactory. It was evident that the room had not been properly cleaned during my stay. The clogged drains were another significant inconvenience that should have been taken care of. Furthermore, the broken ice machine was a letdown, and the fact that external doors could be opened without a key raises serious security concerns. This is completely unacceptable, as it puts the safety of guests at risk. Breakfast was a daily disappointment, with supplies running out early and painfully slow restocking. It was frustrating to start the day on such a note. The condition of the beds was also below par. They were not cleaned properly, which is a basic expectation for any accommodation establishment. To add to my list of grievances, the internet speed was painfully slow. In this day and age, a reliable internet connection is essential for both work and leisure, and the hotel's poor connectivity was a major inconvenience. All in all, my stay at this hotel fell far short of my expectations. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the management to address these critical issues. It's crucial that they prioritize the safety, cleanliness, and overall guest experience to ensure future visitors have a more pleasant stay."
