"The DoubleTree was one of the most amazing accommodation experiences I've had in my life. I travel a lot to sing in different places, and the quality of my rest and accommodations is a huge factor to my ability to recover and perform well. Suffice to say this place was more than adequate. They have an in-house Bistro downstairs with great quality food that is not priced exorbitantly, their breakfast buffet had a great nutritious spread of selections, and their lunch and dinner menu was spectacular. The rooms were immaculate. Clean, beautiful view out the windows, comfortable bed/sheets and a gorgeous bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection was also extremely strong and stable, and I could even play a high-demand-bandwidth video game with no issues. The location is conveniently 12-15 minute drive away from the Washington Dulles Airport, and the best part is that you can call the hotel (their number is right on their website) and ask for a courtesy shuttle to come and pick you up and drive you to the hotel for free. You have to wait for awhile for the shuttle but it saves so much money and hassle. The staff were all incredibly kind and patient with me, I would like to mention Assistant General Manager Kevin Kim for being truly considerate and catering to my needs to make sure I felt welcomed and wanted. Him and the rest of the staff (who tended the Bistro bar etc.) were a great part of this wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place!"

"There is a shuttle service for this hotel and the hotel is about 10 minutes from dulles airport. Most of the folks in reception were quite kind and professional. However, the staff for the shuttle and the restaurant "owner" were not. The shuttle driver wanted to know what room I was staying in and the restaurant worker refused to give me utensils, because I wasn't a "customer"...I pushed back and he relented, but the exchange was ridiculous. The following were broken or should be replaced: Shower head - the pressure was so high it hurt Arm chair-permanently dented Ripped headboard The heating unit cover was falling off Dresser knobs were falling off And, the pool was completely drained and not functional, which wasn't mentioned before checking in. I can't believe this hotel is related to Hilton."

"It's a standard DoubleTree, if a bit old. Service was good. Room was fine. Breakfast was fine. My only complaint is that the shower door didn't quite close all the way, leading to some water pooling on the floor. Which is fine."

"Full service hotel with decent food and excellent customer service. Some of the rooms however need maintenance. Pealing or scuffed wall paper on the walls, some sort of dark residue in the bathroom and stained comforter were among the few things not to be expected when laying close to $200 per night."

"I had an awful experience staying this hotel. Due to a flight delay, we were sent to this hotel (Double Tree) by the airline. Instead of providing a bed for each person, a stranger and I were put on a king bed. When we enter the room, we immediately noticed the TV screen was broken, I called front desk 4 times with the landline in the room, nobody answered. When I was at the airport in the next morning, I received a message from my bank telling me that Double tree charged me $300, I called the hotel, explained to him that TV was already broken when we entered the room. He said that he was following procedures, and he will explain to his manager on next Monday to reimburse the $300 charge. Obviously the TV was broken by previous guests, the hotel did not do their job properly to find the the broken TV when the previous guests checked out, instead of take their own responsibility, they just simply chose me as scapegoat. However I did not receive reimbursement. I email to the hotel manager, no reply at all. I also emailed to the GM of Hilton and there was no reply. I called several times to the hotel, my call was hung up. My experience at this hotel was horrible, their unprofessional behavior really shocked me."
