"I had the worst experience ever, I live in NC and I always go to the store located in that area, but today I came to visit and decided to stop by this Torrid since I received an email that the store was having a sale. When I entered the store no one greeted me, so I decided to start looking around and when I needed a fitting room I felt as if I was a ghost, there was a sales associate near the fitting room, she was totally ignoring me and I could tell that she could see me, but she ignored me until she decided to look at me and help me out. Later on when I was about to leave and I came out of the fitting room she told me that she totally forgot that I was there.... I decided to ignore that and proceed to the register which I then paid and left the store with my husband who was waiting for me... I saw that my husband was upset, then he told me what hapenned until we were in the car because he knew that it could affect me... he told me that he entered the store and he was looking for me... then this sales associate approaches him and tells him if he was the husband of the girl with the scar on her face, when she said that he couldnt believe what she was saying then she acted like she didnt say anything.... I dont really understand the need to refer to me as the girl with the scar on her face. 1st my husband knew I was there and he was not asking for me... 2nd I dont appreciate her pointing out my scar, third I had a car accident when I was 11 years old and yes I do have a scar on my face but is so unprofessional to feel the need to refer to me like that and approach my husband that way when he didnt even asked her... I was not going to say anything by the way she made me feel when she was ignoring me then stating that she forgot I was there, but I am not going to tolerate a person referring to me as the girl with the scar on her face!!! At the end of the day with a scar or not i am still a customer and I deserve respect like anybody else... Worst experience ever..!!!! Update: I was contacted by the regional manager and she was incredible, she was really nice and professional she also told me that she was going to make sure that this never happened again and I am happy that she called me, because that means that i am not only seeing as a customer but also as a human being that deserves respect."

"I absolutely love torrid. This store in general only had 3-5 in sizes. It's hard to get around in the store, it needs more room to get around."

"Took my daughter to look for a dress , no one greeted us , when we needed help we were ignored , had to wait in line so I can ask if my daughter could try on some dresses (fitting rooms were locked) one of the sales associates told us to go to the back were the fitting rooms were to try the dresses on, of course we knew where the fitting rooms were located we just needed help to get a room unlocked , we waited more than 30 mins to be helped , after we were done waiting and we went to the front we saw the Two sales associates having a conversation and not one even went to open the door for us. We left and I don’t think we will come back , this is the 3rd time I’ve had a bad experience here."
