"I went in to buy jeans today, and I was not greeted by any team member, nor was I asked if I could be helped, even as I was clearly searching through piles to find my correct size. Once I found a team member and asked if she could check the back for my size, I was told she was not able to even go to the back because there was a manager meeting going on. That’s it. No other help was given. I have never experienced anything like this before, and I don’t think I will be returning to this location, even though it is closest to my home."
"I am a very positive person and rarely ever complain and try to see the best in people. Today I went into American Eagle and 5 employees passed me and did not say a single word to me. I even smiled and they acted like I was invisible. For a second I thought maybe the store was closed. No one said hello to me, no one said have a good day, no one said do you need help with anything. It is not as though they didn’t see me because each and every one of them made eye contact with me. Every other American Eagle I have been to the people have always been super sweet to me so this was a disappointment."
