"We did a Kitchen Remodel with Cabinet Discounters in Columbia and Main Street Remodeling. The cabinets that we picked were Brighton Cabinetry which are amazing and can't say enough good things about the quality of the cabinets. We selected Monogram appliances thru ADU (recommended by Cabinet Discounters) and we selected MSI Quartz Countertops which were fabricated by Cabinet Discounters. We worked with Rebecca Litton, she did a great job helping us determine the right design for the kitchen with what we were looking to accomplish and within the budget we had. Kitchen remodels are expensive and we did talk to various companies for comparable estimates, so I would say we were right in the middle with our costs. When we did our kitchen remodel, Cabinet Discounters was extremely busy with customer requests, so it was a little tough to get time on Rebecca's calendar because of the workload she had on her plate. We did make a lot of changes throughout that caused re-work for Rebecca, and she was happy to make changes and updates for us. Brighton cabinets are custom made, and we were told ahead of time they would have a 6 week lead time, which was fairly accurate. There were some delays on a couple of cabinets, because Brighton felt they were not up to standard, which was good that they caught that before being sent out, but it was tough getting an update on delivery for the remaining cabinets so the project could be completed. Overall, schedule and install were fairly smooth. Main Street Remodeling did a great job as our GC making necessary plumbing and electrical changes and getting everything installed. Would recommend working with both."

"Over the past 6 years I had them replace my complete kitchen and both bathrooms. They do magnificent work, and the product quality is superb. Having no experience in design and looking for a new look, I relied on their expertise and was very pleased with the space design. The cabinet and tile selections turned out beautiful."

"Jim Polzin helped us plan out our kitchen update, which covered cabinets, counters, flooring and backsplash. Our kitchen isn't even fully done yet, and I love it. The layout is awesome! I am surprised how much I like the built in trash when I avoided it before. The move of the fridge, the tall cabinets and the leathered granite are all so nice. Our kitchen feels bigger and we have ample storage. I also appreciated the fielding of my endless questions and concerns."

"Choosing Cabinet Discounters to remodel my kitchen was an easy choice once I met Jim, who patiently and clearly explained what the process would entail. He designed the kitchen and set up the schedule. Brent, a very talented, kind and professional craftsman took away the old kitchen and built all the cabinets, all by himself. He carried appliances down inside and outside stairs skillfully, without a single scratch. His work ethic and concentration are extraordinary. It has been a pleasure working with CD and I look forward to the final stages."

"Staff was perfectly friendly, but incredibly overpriced. Two single standard size wall cabinets, and two 8' shelves (one cut up to be smaller shelves), of which were not custom sizes - priced at just over $2k not including installation. Maybe I should have known to ask for a price point before sitting down and drawing it all out for an hour. In addition, they said they were already a few months out for booking installation, so I asked if we could book it but cancel (enough ahead of time) if it was taking too long, and they said no - there's no cancelation allowed which will be stated in the contract. They also couldn't give us a guaranteed timeframe for installation, which to me means that we could be told it will be 6 months out and there's nothing we can do about it, because we can't cancel it. I also asked if we just bought the material (before we knew the price) if it would be cut to size, and that was also a no. Some of this may be typical as I will admit I'm not very familiar with cabinet stores, but after talking to others, the $2k minimum price point NOT including installation seemed outrageous to others as well. Again, the staff was totally fine, but I do wish that a price point was shared at the beginning, because it did feel like a bit of a bait and switch to sit down and draw all of it out to then be told that kind of a price. I'm sure it's part of the sales technique, but frustrating nonetheless. For context, here's a picture that is pretty similar to what we wanted - and add one more shelf in between the cabinets."
