"I normally don’t complain about services that I receive. I just pay and never come back. I feel compelled to leave a review. I brought my daughter to get her hair done for school. I was charged $175 for some medium knotless. I didn’t mind the price. When I walked through the door and I saw my child’s hair, I was disappointed. My daughter saw it all over my face that I was displeased. Let’s be clear. I never said the braids were ugly or anything like that. However, I stated that the price that she charged doesn’t match the quality of her work. I really saw how poor the quality was after I returned home. Her braids were not the same size. Her parts were too big for the braid. She didn’t even take the time to remove the excess hair from the braid. The hair was sticking out of the braids. A pair of scissors could’ve easily removed it. She didn’t even take the time to do that. There were two other ladies present. One stylist said that my comment was ignorant because I stated that the quality wasn’t there and she also called me mean for saying her braids looked better than my daughter’s. It was the truth. My daughter said that the stylist hand kept shaking. I don’t know if she has a medical condition or what. This may affected why the quality was so poor. I really shouldn’t have paid the full amount. I could’ve went back home (NC), and found a stylist with no license to do the same style for $80. This stylist work is mediocre. She either need to step her game up or drop them prices. Those parts were so big, my daughter maybe got 50 braids or less. The other ladies kept making excuses for her, but I want trying to hear it. This was my first and last time. She could’ve had a client for life. Didn’t even offer not one dollar off!!!!"
