"There should be an option for zero stars, called to inform the staff as a courtesy that their food tasted days old and somebody can get sick, all the guy could tell us was “stop complaining” what a joke. Been coming here for nearly 25 years but not sure what happened to them, had the original owner answered my call maybe he wouldn’t have been this disrespectful."

"My first time here was today. Customer Service & Atmosphere was amazing. However for 18.00 almost 20.00 I barely got any food. There was more bread than rice salad and meat combined? I’m meat was very dry & chic peas were drenched in oil."

"Great food. Great atmosphere and great service. The samosas are nice, thick and flakey. The boolanee-YUM! Chickpeas with rice is flavorful and fragrant. The side salad could use an assist but I'm not here for the salad. Charcoal Kabob also gives back to the community consistently and continuously. Will continue to eat here."

"Visiting from Georgia and came here with my family and we each got our own plates. Lamb kebab actually had flavor and still maintained a juicy texture. Chicken also had the same consistency, which paired well with the rice. The Saag (Spinach) and Chana (Chickpeas) tasted fresh. My Chicken bowl had decent spice with sauce embedded in the dish, paired with a salad. I normally enjoy my salad on the side but combining it with the rice was tasty. Spoke with the owner, who informed me they had been open for 30 years and uses fresh products from the vegetable to the meats. 10/10 I would come back again when I am back in town."

"Nestled in an unsuspecting stripmall in the middle of Herndon is some of the best Afghani food in Northern Virginia — so good, in fact, that I drive from 2 towns over to eat here. The personable staff at this family-owned restaurant are efficient and a pleasure to encounter. The dining area is clean, but could use some modernization. But what really makes this place stand out is the quality of the food. Unlike other local Afghani places, they spice things appropriately and the flavors are savory; the meats cooked to perfection; and the bread …. Oh, the bread. You’ll just have to try it for yourself and see what the hype is about."
