"My boyfriend and I just went here for the first time ever base on someone’s recommendation. I just got a new offer and wanted to go celebrate. Everything we ate was amazing and will definitely go again when we can afford it. The staff is very professional and called to confirm the reservation. When we got it the area and called to move our reservation 30 minutes earlier they were able to accommodate our request. We had caviar and shrimp for appetizers, filet mignon at a perfect medium rare and filet salmon with caviar for entrees, desserts was Pistachio cheesecake."

"It had been a long time since I last visited the Russia House Restaurant. The last time I was here, I had the Russia House Noodles and Caviar. This restaurant was still as delicious and characteristic as I remember. The atmosphere is very serene, friendly, and classical. It's fine dining with fine china and the works! The owners/operators are extremely friendly, cordial, and grateful for everyone who visits. It has the charm of Purcellville, with the wonderment of Herndon. Our reservation was made for 7:30PM. Parking in Herndon is usually full downtown, but the very first space was open tonight. We started with a bottle of the Fume Blanc and the Russia House pate. My order was the Salmon, Pistachio cheesecake, and the Russia House Coffee. My husband ordered the Scallops, Chocolate Mousse cake and I forgot his drink. This meal was exquisite! The flavor was excellent. The vegetables were tender and delectable. The seafood was prepared with care and excellence. Desserts were light and airy, not that peanut butter-ish, stick to the roof of your mouth type cheesecake. The service was beyond compare! We really enjoyed this fabulous dinner. Pros: Location Easy reservation system online Easy to read menu without a gazillion items Service Flavor Cons: As always, if you're a Stingy McCheapskate, don't come here. Could use some redecorating (just a personal thing against solid white walls (makes me think of rental properties) Yeah, the cons are pretty non-existent with Russia House. Overall: I highly recommend Russia House for a fine dining experience with unique flavors and wonderful service."

"Very nice and peaceful place to have a celebratory dinner. The man and woman servers were very polite and attentive. The food and mixed drinks were very good!! I'd definitely eat here again on a special occasion. The prices are too high for me to eat here regularly. A hidden gem in the heart of Herndon!"
