"This place is really expensive for what they give you. If I'm paying $16 for a bowl of pho brisket soup, I normally expect a larger bowl. It felt like a kids meal. They don't even fill the soup container all the way to the top (see photo). The amount of noodles they give you is severely underwhelming. A pack of ramen noodles give you more than what they give. The amount of protein they give is decent but not nearly as much as other pho places. I guess I'm just super shocked with these portion sizes because I come from Falls Church and Centreville. For $16, the pho places in those cities give almost double than what is given here. It's a travesty that they give out packets of Lee Kum Lee sriracha... where is my huy fong?? These owners seem to be taking advantage of the clientele present in this location because they don't know any better. As far as taste goes, it's average at best. The broth doesn't have that typical deep flavor a bowl of pho has. It feels generic here. Like there's no soul behind the broth. They also skimp out on the bean sprouts/basil. 2/5. This place is below average. MAYBE average at best. Unphenomenal."

"Tried this restaurant twice so far. I absolutely love their service! When they saw I have a kid with me, small bowl with kids utensils and a pair of scissors were brought to our table right away. This beats all other restaurants we’ve been to. Food was fresh. The portion of meat in the pho was great for a meat lover like me. The broth tasted a bit different from the classic ones I’ve had at other pho places but I couldn’t tell what’s making that difference. Would try again and see if I can figure it out. LOL"

"The food was good. However, in terms of the Pho, I don't think the price matches the portion size. The rice plates were fine, however, and the spring rolls were delicious. The Thai tea was ok, not the best but not the worst I've had."

"I work nearby and I am new to the area so I always see what new places I can go to on my lunch. Phonomenal did not disappoint. I was greeted and seated quickly. The food comes out in a very timely matter..which is great since I only have an hour lunch. Tommy who I believe may be the owner? is super nice and friendly. I had the brisket pho which is my personal favorite. The portion of noodles and meat are generous however I always end up ordering extra anyway just because I love it so much! Everything is nice and clean which is number 1 for me. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. I'm thoroughly satisfied with my visit to Phonomenal. It was excellent!"

"Rice special and vermicelli specials were delicious. Calamari and spring rolls were too oily. Seafood pho was supposed to include crab as per the menu but it was the imitation crab. Chicken satay was chewy. Service was okay."
