"Came here during the Christmas holidays to get some fresh air and ice skate away from home. The ice surface is not that big (definitely much much smaller than a regulation ice rink) so it's much more friendly for toddlers and tots. Skating has to be slow, least you run over little ones. A bit pricey ($15 per person for a 75-minute period including skate rentals) and I've surface is a bit rough, but a short period of fun for the family if you're into this kind of thing. It was pretty busy when we visited, which was around noon on a weekday. Parking is free along the adjacent street, or in a parking lot a few minutes away on foot."
"Came here with my friends over winter break. The ice skating rink was pretty but quite packed and small. I recommend it as a date or with a few friends because there are many cute dining options very near the rink. I wouldn’t recommend for beginners who want to practice or for families with small children. The price was $12 with a $3 skate rental fee."
"Worst Pop-Up ice rink I've ever been too. I've been to other temp rinks that are nicer and cheaper. Color Burst updated their website from last year just before the rink opened...no more cheapskate Tuesdays and no more military discounts. The Color Burst Ice Rink website is not very informative and does not give adequate information about tickets or the rink. The Merriweather Instagram is not updated either with any information, yet they post about it. You have no choice but to buy tickets online or through a QR code online when walking up. The ticket purchasing website is very poor and has you go through a tedious multi-step process just to buy the ticket. It took me and another couple about 10 minutes just to buy 2 tickets. Please just have a credit card machine or cash register! Waste of $30 and I will make sure not to recommend."
"Great park in a hidden place. Many restaurants and upcoming too. The splash pad is great for littles. They also had kid events on Saturday mornings. No playground but yard activists always on the field."
