"I went here for a live music event in the old courtroom itself. The acoustics are very interesting in there, as it gives sound a natural reverb tone. They had food and alcoholic drink options available and a section downstairs for kids to play in. Even more interesting, was the attached jail that has been closed since the 90's and looks like something out of a horror show :)"

"Paranormal investigation. Not the greatest if you have allergies/asthma. Old bldg. Old paint but most people are not in those areas unless doing the paranormal."

"Steve and Dylan from haunted nights are amazing. The ghost tour was a good time. Can't wait to go back."

"I don't live in Salem, but my work requires me to get information from local places occasionally. This place has heretofore been quiet during my infrequent visits - until yesterday. The Center's 'Lunch, Learn, and Play' program (a summer children's program) was PACKED. I asked and learned that the program is full, with a waitlist. There's also a pretty nice thrift shop toward the back (different outside entrance). Their brochure also says there's some performing arts, workshops, a History Center, The Battenkill Kitchen that provides food services, and a SAVE Van. This SAVE van provides free transportation to Residents, and is underwritten by local Churches. Neat! So the place, to me, seems quiet most of the time, but can get super-busy, too. (Also I've heard it's haunted. ;-)"

"Beautiful historic building in Salem with dedicated people (Janice) looking to its preservation and future. I went for Takeyce Walter's art showing and later got to explore the historic courthouse."
