With nearly one million dollars received in grants and donations since 2002, the Courthouse is one of the best-preserved courtrooms in New York State. In addition to its preservation work, the Courthouse hosts a range of programs and events for the community of Washington County. From summer programs for children to repair cafes where volunteers fix broken household items, the Courthouse is a hub of activity and learning. Music from Salem, a group of talented musicians, also performs a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary music at the Courthouse.
