Music from Salem, a group of talented musicians, also performs a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary music at the Courthouse.

We take pride in restoring and preserving the Old Washington County Courthouse in Salem, NY, which has received almost one million dollars in grants and donations for restoration work since 2002. Our institution is known for having one of the best-preserved 19th-century courtrooms in New York State. In addition to our preservation efforts, we serve as a thriving community center in Washington County, NY, offering diverse programs and events for all to enjoy. Our summer program for Salem area children runs for five weeks, five days a week, and five and a half hours per day, providing a safe, healthy, and educational environment for kids. We also host the Hebron-Salem Repair Café, where local volunteers help repair broken household items for free, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
