"Casa Alchimia was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had! The location was perfect to walk all around Freeport and pretty easy to get Ubers to Portland as well (if renting a car, it would be even easier!). The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The interiors as a whole are very thoughtfully considered, unique, and beautiful. Lastly, Giampy and his wife made me feel welcome and taken care of. This was my first time traveling alone, so I was very grateful that they took care to meet me for my late arrival, give me great local tips, and served a fantastic and varied breakfast every day. I’d stay again in a heartbeat!"

Our group was gathering for a school reunion, and we were initially in search of a rental property that could cater to the bougie taste of some of our group members... ok, me. After an exhaustive search, I stumbled upon this gem late one night, and I was instantly captivated by the beauty and high-end details that were unlike anything else in the area. What's more, the rates were incredibly reasonable, so we booked without hesitation. Casa Alchimia is run by a remarkable couple from Italy who left careers in corporate oil and veterinary medicine to follow their dream of running a B&B. They have lovingly renovated a historic home, preserving unique details like elmwood beams while infusing the space with organic luxury. Everything, from the raw oak floors to the crisp pergola cotton linens, is of the highest quality and imported from Italy. The commitment to a chemical-free environment only adds to the allure. Our stay at Casa Alchimia far exceeded our expectations. It was more than just a place to sleep; it was an extraordinary experience. The fine art lining the halls, the delectable breakfasts prepared with care, and the overall ambiance made us feel like we were in heaven. Though we had come to Freeport for a reunion, we found ourselves spending most of our time at Casa Alchimia, catching up with dear friends in what felt like our own luxurious home. "Perfection! We loved staying at Casa Alchimia for the night while visiting our kids at camp. Our room was super clean & modern and the bed and sheets were beyond comfortable. Our host was very friendly and accommodating he even recommended us restaurants nearby. The breakfast was to die for! Can’t wait to visit again."

"My wife and I stayed for three nights. The hosts were amazing. The house and all of the rooms are totally renovated with modern luxury furniture and fixtures. Everything was super clean, the service was amazing, and the hosts are delightful. We would cove back anytime. Google only allows 5 stars, this place deserves 6! "We cannot say enough glowing things about Casa Alchimia - it was exceptional in every way. The beautiful garden and deck and exterior fit right in with the surrounding charming Maine architecture, and the inside is a masterpiece of modern design. The whole building, from the the gorgeous common areas to our spacious, comfortable room, is stunning, perfectly clean, and very comfortable. Great location - Freeport is cute and close to Portland and many beautiful coastal towns, not to mention excellent hiking about 10 minutes away at Wolfe's Neck. The breakfasts were incredible - truly out of this world. And last but not least, the owners, Giampy and Monica, are the loveliest, warmest people. They made us feel so welcome and taken care of, and they had wonderful recommendations for places to go, things to see, etc. It's clear they take a lot of pride and joy in hosting guests in their beautiful inn - every detail was perfect. We look forward to staying at Casa Alchimia again on a future vacation!"
