"Our recent experience with Waldorf Tuxedo and the owner was amazing! My brother was a groomsman for his best friend, but due to a family vacation/wedding date timing we only had a week and a half before the wedding to rent a suit. When searching for places in Albany to rent, this place was at the top of the list and the one we decided to try due to the detailed and positive reviews. And weren't disappointed! I emailed to double check availability and received a prompt response, and went with my brother on a Thursday (with the wedding the following Friday). We were immediately met by the owner at the door, who listened to what we were looking for. I also had a picture the groom had sent for reference, and the owner's experience came through in picking out the details (the shade of red of the tie the groom was wearing, he was wearing a vest, etc). He measured my brother and knew right away which jacket would work best. My brother rented the whole suit (pants, jacket, dress shirt, vest, suspenders, shoes, tie), and it was ready to pick up the following Wednesday, as arranged. I picked it up on that day and it was packaged ready to go, since the owner knew we were traveling for the wedding. My brother in the grooms party looked smart and handsome in his suit. And I was able to bring it back on the Tuesday after the wedding (next business day due to Monday holiday). It was evident in the other reviews as well as interacting with the owner that he knew his craft. My brother and I were pleased with the experience and would recommend it to others (or use again should the occasion arise!). Also, I love the character of the shop and window displays!"
