"This store has always the best choice for lumber in Augusta - much better quality wood than what you get at the big box stores while remaining competitively priced. The location was recently acquired and rebranded under the Hancock Lumber umbrella and the change has meant upgrades at the stores and better selection of building materials. Staff there are helpful regardless if you are a DIYer picking up a couple of 2x4s or a contractor building an entire house. I’m always happy with the product and service I get there."
"Love the people and location, I was a little annoyed with the prices of plywood. I read a review that said they had better prices than the box stores, but their plywood, of any kind and size, are $15 to $20 more per sheet than Home Depot. I went there to save money and it would have increased my cost of the project by 40%. I was disappointed because I live 1.5 miles away from this store, and would love to buy all my materials there. The cost increase is just way too big to even consider it. Great service and staff though."
