The Tremont

"I'm a resident living here and I have the highest satisfaction with this apartment. This apartment is clean, spacious and very soundproof. Especially, the management staff, Russell, is very fantastic! He helps whenever we need help and communicates very well. It also has geographical advantages that are very close to green lines, red lines, buses, and grocery stores."

"Me and my roommate moved into the apartment in August this year. So far, we are enjoying our new home here. The location in great, the apartment is very clean, sturdy, and barely has any issues. Also love the management group, especially Russell helped us a lot with many questions and problems."

"We rented an apartment through Airbnb and a parking slot through Spot Angels with this company. I misunderstood spot angels, as it was my first use, I thought I was paying for a total use. I went in and signed a follow up agreement with Tremont. At the time of signing I was distracted as there was police officers coming in and out of the building. The paperwork mentioned a written letter being needed to end services and payment going forward to be made to the Tremont. We missed this information. Two months later we returned the keys to the employee who gave them to us .We asked him if there was anything else we needed to do. He said no. We also called the Management office and asked and never received a call back. If we had, we would’ve closed out our bill, paid an additional month and supplied a written agreement. Instead we heard nothing for 4 months and they charged us for those additional 4 months. They charge 375 per month so we were charged 1500 for a garage spot we had no access to. Had our call been returned and they told us what we needed to do this whole thing could’ve been avoided. Obviously 1500 dollars is a lot of extra money in this economy and was a hit we were not expecting. Ive never had to leave a bad review before but the poor communication and charge for services we were not in state to receive felt very unfair. I would not recommend this place for anyone who is not meticulously reading everything they ever sign. This place will not be helpful and will delay communication in hopes of making more money off of you. Side note: The church and park across the street are beyond rat infested. No grass can grow because the rat tunnels are so plentiful. I walked to Brigham and Women’s every day for work as a travel nurse and you can hear them from a block away. This area is also filled with college kids and sleeping during the day is impossible if you are night shift. All weekends there are parties at the next door apartment complex as well and they tend to go all night and are outdoors. Over all this place was a huge disappointment. we stayed in 3 other apartments while in the Boston area working in a variety of locations and always had no problems."

"Apartments are decent, but management staff is incompetent and dishonest. Rents were not as advertised. At the end of my lease I was told I could renew at a $400 increase in rent and that this was less than the market price. I declined and the apartment was actually listed for significantly less. During my stay management was absent and unresponsive, and on one occasion a staff member explicitly lied to me and then insulted me. The leasing staff has since completely turned over. Not the kind of company you want to do business with unless you have no other choice."

"We truly love living at the Tremont. It’s clean, the apartments are sized well, it has beautiful amenities, and the management staff is fantastic. They are so easy to chat with and they are always very helpful and friendly. The location is amazing. It’s surrounded by grocery stores and great restaurants. Strongly recommend living in the Tremont."
