"If you're a light sleeper at all, do not come here. It's an old squeaky house, you will hear *everything* everyone is doing, and chances are it will keep you up all night. There's only 2 things I care about when I'm traveling: cleanliness and getting a good night's sleep. This place failed sooo badly on the second one."
"Really pleased with the Irving House. Only affordable place to stay on a Saturday. Room was comfortable and clean, and we slept well. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise with decent coffee. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat."
"Decent for what it is. Very cheap and walkable to everything. Biggest complaint is that it is loud all throughout the night. It felt more like living in a freshman dorm than anything else. I woke up to someone trying to get in my room at 3am but it was just a drunk kid trying to get into the wrong room. Teeny tiny room. That being said, it’s affordable and hard to complain too much."
"Decent place, but you’d think for $200/night there would be a mini fridge microwave and hot water maker in the rooms like nearly all hotels/even low budget motels. 3+ floor walk up every time you want to get some food or make some tea(have to go to the basement) gets old fast. Also kind of rough on noise sensitive folks, people walking past your room all night to use the bathrooms in the hall. Tiny rooms. Creaky old building. But free on site parking was a huge plus!"
