Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge

"Excellent service - was able to handle a fairly early checkin with no complaint, held bahs on the day I checked out, and was friendly for the 3 days I was here. There's a coffee shop, a restaurant, and a bar inside. All are priced where you'd expect hotel options to be but the food is tasty Rooms were clean and quiet and room service was great. There's no on site laundry (you can drop off in the morning and get it back another day) but there's a laundromat in walking distance. MIT is a pleasant walk away, as is Back Bay."

"Attended company holiday party & passed apps were delicious & hot. Servers did a good job everywhere, but food stations in ballroom could have been better for 200-250 we had. Most cooked food was not served hot & salad bar set up backwards. Bartenders in ballroom were pleasant & desserts were tasty, but wish they'd been put in ballroom instead of in original hallway near coat room."

"Be aware, this hotel charges a "destination fee" per day in the amount of 20 dollars plus tax. I was not personally informed of this fee either at check in or time of booking. In addition, when I booked I was charged for "Taxes/Fees" however this was apparently not included. Hotel refuses to work with me on a refund, and am currently still working with them to find a solution. Editing in response to the owner: That's all fine and well, my issue is that at no time during booking, or at check in were these amenities explained to me. You concierge has stopped responding to my emails to resolve this matter. These fees are predatory and a scam. No one books a hotel with the expectation of guest bikes, and onsite notary. You need to do better, and can start by refunding me this fee. Until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere and suggest others consider the same."

"We came into this hotel with high hopes and every one of them was exceeded. We were able to check in an hour early AND received a free upgrade as "member of the day" (World of Hyatt rewards). Our suite was wonderful and had a beautiful view of the Charles River and Boston skyline. We were really impressed with quick service and even quicker responses from staff when we requested more sugar and towels to the room. The hotel is located in a great area and has amazing sound deadening, we couldn't hear a noise inside or outside. We would absolutely stay here again, and more than likely will in the coming months."

"Had the pleasure to stay here two nights on the way to and back from an anniversary trip to Ireland. The place is super clean, well maintained, and has an amazing location. You are minutes from the airport, downtown Boston, and all the major college campuses. The river views are incredible, and the little interior balconies are fun. This hotel has retro/throwback vibes to the fun 1980s hotels of my childhood, and I mean that in the best possible way. The place just made me smile. The staff are super responsive and go above and beyond; special shout out to Christina (Guest Services Manager) for accommodating our room requests and even hooking us up with a free breakfast for our anniversary. Give this place a shot. You won't regret it (especially if you are a child of the 80s with fun memories around going to 'fancy" hotels as a kid). We will be back."
