"Stayed here a few times. Before this time I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Now not so much. - beds had weird black marks on them - toilet plunger was not working properly so would make noises throughout the day and night - wifi wouldn’t connect - 0 sound isolation. Fraternity across the street could be heard all too well"

"Wifi didn't work the entire time for us, front desk said "it's not their job" to fix it or offer a discount because of the problem. Stay away from here. Also the sheets had some weird marks and if you're on the first floor, the noise from across the street is very loud until around midnight."

"After a chance find we quickly booked into this hotel given the great looking pictures of the rooms. We were not disappointed! The friendly staff greet you on arrival and offer any choice of drinks available 24/7…all sorts of coffee on offer and fruit teas. A lovely reception lobby awaits you if you wish to hang around downstairs (see pictures). The room itself was exactly as described..modern bathroom and comfy bed..sold. Whilst some reviews mention the lack of space we found it adequate - I can see that some might like to have more and it is a compact room, however there is enough space generally for what you need. A decent hotel and we’d definitely stay here again when in Boston!"

"Staff seems like high school kids working their first jobs. Their desk is in a tiny space beside the elevator, and they just sit there on their phones and talk about dying their hair. I noticed this because I spent a lot of time in the lobby, as my room was so small I got claustrophobic. Contrary to the information on their website and on the flyer they gave me when I checked in, there is no bar in the lobby. My room was in what appears to be a converted porch, with windows in place of actual walls, so it was drafty and noisy and the windows creaked all night. My toiled wouldn't flush and the sink wouldn't drain. There's no clock, no coffee pot, no mini fridge, and no bureau/drawers/desk/countertop space. The carpet had stains on it. There's nowhere to put your suitcase. All this and I was nearly overcharged by $300 but luckily my bank caught it and flagged it as an unusually large transaction. I won't stay here again, even though I love supporting hotels that aren't chains. This one just isn't worth the price."

"We made a group booking for our wedding party and guests. Justin was very accommodating to our requests and responded promptly. This is a beautiful boutique hotel so the rooms are all different (but on a small side). While one or two rooms are a little tired, overall everyone who stayed loved the ambience and found the staff to be polite, very helpful and discreet. There was no room service except for bottled water and a very nice coffee maker. That said the front desk staff was helpful and let us store our wine in the hotel’s kitchen refrigerator and they also provided endless supplies of glassware. And boy, our family/friends made full use of them!! As we had a large bridal party (14 ladies and girls to get makeup/hair then dress) - Justin managed to assign 2 largest rooms on the same floor for us. With help, our 3 stylists were in the largest room while we kept the other room for relaxing/snacking. The location is excellent just 3 mins from Harvard Sq - we actually walked to the reception venue (Harvard Art Museum) in our wedding clothes !! There is parking and again, the staff were very accommodating to day visitors (aka our stylists). Highly recommend staying here either as a couple or as a party (bridal or otherwise)."
