"Went in for a simple can of black spray paint with limited time to shop. Imagine my surprise when all of the spray paint was locked in a cage. I can work with that; it's annoying, but overall, that’s a minor inconvenience. Nonetheless, I’ll consider that strike one. Next, I went to get one of the many employees that were on the floor. Everyone was trying to act like they weren’t ignoring you, but they kind of were because they were in the middle of what looked to be inventory. Finally, I get a nice young man who very quickly gets me into the cage. Once I get his attention, I should be on my way out the door, right? Wrong! I get to the front, and there are only self-checkout registers. Again, I can work with this, except when I go to ring up the spray paint, I need an ID apparently. And guess what, I also need an associate to verify my information and input a code before I can move on. After a few moments of awkwardly standing there, I was finally on my way. And that was strike three."
"Store was clean and well-lit. Some good sales. Only one cashier, though, if you're not into using self-checkout. The lady who helped me retrieve my pickup order was very nice."
"They used to have a lot more craft stuff and kits but still a good store. Now they have self check outs which is helpful there when you have a few items."
"Love this Michael's. It's always very clean and tidy and has great displays. The yarn section is overdoing a bit of an overhaul where they're putting the yarn on the back wall, possibly by color. This store also has a self-checkout, which I love."
"I had a picture that I needed framed and the young lady Michelle was awesome. Knows her product, provided me with options, and will have my picture all framed up within 3 days. I also had a chance to stroll through the rest of the store and glad I did. More projects to get ready for the holidays."
