"Blew tire on highway at Elkton exit so needed a hotel at 4:30 am. Everything booked up but Sunrise Inn. Haven’t seen mice yet, but we couldn’t sleep for fear of bugs. The room is shabby, very dirty, and out of a horror movie. We’re out of here as soon as tire is repaired."

"This is an old motel which was beautifully restored by the family that owns and operates it. A motel like out of a 60s movie! Absolutely beautiful: Outside architecture and inside little architectural details. Large clean rooms, fridge, dining table, fauteuil, desk, comfortable mattress! What more could you ask for? Well, if you want to feed the large corporations, go next door. However, If you like to support a family maintain and preserve a beautiful piece of America, you’ve found the place!"
