"Although Cleanletts was highly recommended by their previous reviews, my personal experience of them is that they are now too thinly spread and are unable to deliver to the standard I would expect from a decorator. My decorator was new to Cleanletts and had little supervision, leaving paint on the adjacent wall and on carpet. In addition, the quote I received supposedly only covered painting the landing, with the instruction from Cleanletts to the decorator not to paint down the stairwell. He had to come back to complete an unfinished job when I noted deficiencies. Clearly, this would never be aesthetically acceptable to a client and a quote should include all work in surrounding areas. Perhaps Cleanletts should stick to what they are reviewed to do well- cleaning."

"First time I have hired a handyman and it was through a referral. The lady on the phone was friendly and explained things well and we booked a time slot. The reason I am not giving this a 5 start rating is purely because that booking then just didn't exist and I waited for this person to arrive when he didnt. They are off until the second week of January, so she should not have offered me that slot to begin with. Once she realised, she should have informed me. Having set up another day, the man who actually came was efficient and very quick. They charge by the hour so it is worth getting a few things done in that time. I had a few pictures hung up, a door handle fitted on the outside cupboard and had a few lightbulbs changed. I would recommend their service, just need to iron out that initial process."

"Excellent service. Prompt on responding to a request for a quote and then worked with us to arrange mutually agreeable dates for starting the works. Nick, Mick and Richard were all very friendly and polite when completing the works, which involved a major overall and repair of our expansive decking space. There were some unexpected complications involved but the works were still completed to the amount originally quoted. Nick even threw in a couple of minor additional jobs which really helped enhance the final look of our space following all the repairs and cleaning, at no extra cost. I was very confident in Nick's knowledge and understanding of underlying problems of our decking space, as he discussed everything with me keenly and enthusiastically, explaining the issues clearly to me. Basically, a great team of workers and a credit to their trade. Very good value too. Very much recommended, thank you!"
