"Disappointing experience of a vacuum cleaner repair. Was advised that this was sub contracted and that the contractor only collected appliances on a Tuesday. I clearly explained what the problem was (dust marks being left on the carpet by my 2 year old appliance) and, after 5 weeks, 2 repairs and a not insignificant cost, the problem still wasn't rectified. Only as I collected it for the final time was I advised that if I removed the wiper blades that things might improve. I duly did and it was an instant fix. Great but did I really need to pay £60 for the pleasure of knowing something I could have done at home? I liked the owner of Carringtons and found him communicative, honest, and transparent but disappointed by the sub contractor, whom I never met. I know he was waiting around for parts but did it really need to take nearly 6 weeks?"
"Very pleased with the service. Called on Thursday and my oven was repaired on Friday. A lot cheaper than the quotes I had got online. This is the second time I have used them and would definitely use them again and also recommend them to family and friends. Added bonus is the owners brilliant sense of humour."
