"They took my cat in at the last minute for emergency care. They were waiting for him when we arrived which was a big relief. Fay was our vet and she was friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. He had to stay overnight and she provided regular updates which I really appreciated. Would recommend."

"Our 13 year old Shihtzu Tilly was diagnosed with heart failure in April 2020, she was estimated to have 6-12 months left, we managed to get an extra 1.5 years with her which took us up to March of this year. This is absolutely due to the caring and compassionate team at Medivet Richmond. The vets and receptionists alike always went the extra mile whilst Tilly was in their care and I want to thank them for that. Can't recommend them enough."

"My cat DC became ill very suddenly on a Saturday night. We rushed him to Medivet Richmond, where the entire staff was very kind and helpful. They did bloodwork on him straight away and he had to be admitted to the vet hospital that night. We found the entire night staff to be very kind during what was an extremely difficult time for us. The only negative part of our experience (and why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5) was that it was difficult to get an update on him the next day (Sunday) during the day. I was promised a phone call between 10am - 1pm and did not receive one. I was distraught and called several times. The vet I finally spoke to around 3pm was not empathetic at all and caused me to cry even more because it didn't seem that he really cared. It seemed like he just wanted to get off the phone. I did not catch his name. When the night staff took over we were able to speak with the vet who admitted DC the previous night to get more information and that was very helpful. Sadly, my precious cat passed away after a day and a half in the hospital, but we are very grateful to the Medivet Richmond staff for doing everything they could to help him. We particularly liked the night vet Dr Dimitrios Sklias, who was extremely kind and empathetic and took the time to explain everything to us - DC's condition and treatments, what they were doing to help him, and what happened when he passed away. He let us spend some private time with our sweet DC after he passed and helped us understand our options for cremation or burial. The staff organised the entire cremation for us and we were able to pick up DC's beautiful casket and ashes from the vet's office. A big thank you to Medivet Richmond for doing everything you could for our precious boy, and a special thank you to Dr Sklias and the staff who were so kind to us during this awful time."
