"Absolutely shocking service. Began renting a house around this time last year and when we moved in not one thing was shown to us- complaints were not handled correctly either. Extra keys & thermostat were found months later in a hidden drawer. We ended up having to pay £2000 for 3 months worth of electricity due to the wrong boiler system being installed in the house and no one showing us how to work it properly. Even when the heating was off the boiler was still running so it didn’t ‘freeze up’. After this we physically could not afford to have the heating on at all which then caused condensation within the walls.The house was also completely covered in black mould inside which caused us to fall ill. We complained about this numerous times however it took months for someone to come out and fix it."

"I've been client of Waltham Estates since 2019. I've never had a problem with them. The properties are old and somewhat neglected, so require a lot of maintenance. The guys at Waltham Estates always come up with a suitable tradesman to sort out the problems, with minimal input from me. I don't live in London, so I cannot visit the properties or sort out any issues personally, so I am very dependent on Waltham Estates being able to deal with 100% of problems that arise. In that respect they have delivered perfectly. I prefer to deal with things via email, and they are very good at responding quickly to my queries. On the odd occasion that I telephone them, all the individuals I speak to are polite and upbeat. I did some careful due diligence before switching to Waltham Estates, and this paid off for me. The previous agent was shockingly bad. Being a good letting agent is hard work, and many people offering the service are not prepared to do that work. Waltham Estates is an honourable exception. Faizan Kauser is the agent I've had most to do with, but I've dealt with a number of the staff and they all seem equally motivated."

Everything was taken care of without any problems and we had tenants within two weeks. The two weeks were simply to carry out repairs etc. They recommended very good and reasonably priced builders and decorators. They were very fast and efficient.
