"Overall poor. Inventory wasn’t done in our presence when moving in AND moving out. A range of “issues were found” when we vacated the property, some of which were charged and taken from our deposit unfairly. Some issues were reported during the stay which were never addressed to our disappointment. Appointments with new tenants being booked with little to no notice at all. Some within 4 hours to the time of viewing. Treated like absolute 3rd class citizens by a company that clearly has no regards for tenants. Note to new tenants: stand your ground, be present to inventories, report everything you deem isn’t right and don’t let them bully you. Update: “17 years in business” and 3 stars out of 5 from 70 reviewers should tell you a thing or two about the state of their “business”"

"I was a tenant with them for 1,5 years and the service from beginning to the end was very good. Whenever we had an issue due to fair wear and tear, Lorraine was always very responsive to communicate with the Landlord and coming back with updates. I would rent another flat with them definitely. The only bit we had a misunderstanding was in the 'end of contract' , with a misunderstanding of the 2 months notice (notice that we gave), however they reconsidered and proceeded as the contract mentioned."

"Negative feedback are a setup. What can i say about this company? Who else answers the phone at 3am? Got locked out and was in by 4. Honest, hard working and care about their tenants. Ive been there when tenants have gone in to pay and they act like they are friends for years. People who trash their home will bear the consequences if they then leave negative reviews then its their problem. I will never leave Home and Away for another agency. 4 years and still going strong. Love them."

"Our experience of working with Home and Away Estate Agents has been a satisfying and satisfactory one. All members of the team we had contact with were friendly and pleasant and if involved in a task requested by Karl most efficient. Karl Connor our main contact conducted himself in a calm and professional manner, giving maximum support to us as vendors and also to our purchasers, smoothing the path through the conveyance of our property which could have been problematic, demonstrating knowledge, ingenuity, flair and good humour and helping to resolve issues with an uncooperative tenant. "I have rented of home &away estates for the last 5 years and I have had no trouble with them at all. They have helped me promptly with any issues in the flat. Sara and Lorraine are always so helpful and friendly towards me. The only thing I would say is some of their builders are not as friendly and leave a mess."
