"Had to book this place as a family of 5 with 3 young children under 10 due to our late night train being cancelled on our way back from Bruges. We just needed a bed for the night. All I can say is that it was relatively clean. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower could only manage boiling hot or freezing cold and nothing in between and the shower head was caked in limescale. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the adjacent rooms talking late into the night and first thing in the morning. I wouldn't mind if the price was right but at £337 for the room it was hard to swallow. I would not stay in such a place again. I would rather pay double or triple next time and go somewhere more comfortable."

"The only good thing about this hotel was the location and the price. We were with a group of 5 and the room for 5 people was awful. It was big enough for maybe 2 people. It was super hot and there was no air conditioning and a tiny fan. The worst part was the window would get only open a small bit. We were dying in the heat all day and night…it was a joke! Plus dragging our luggage up 5 flight of narrow stairs was a nightmare. The shower was either super hot or freezing cold. If you have a group don’t stay here! It’s way too small and so uncomfortable."

"Many say that that it was un clean yet the staff were nice we only encounter one staff member at the front desk she was a bit agest (we were a school group) towards us. We were females staying ground floor front of house not very safe as the window was broken and not easy to open/close on top of the wardrobe it was dilapidated and grimy the wardrobe was broken itself and the showers and taps weren't easy to use (water temperature wise) the breakfast gave us a stomach ache and the cutlery wasn't cleanbur it's only a 2 as we stayed for only one night as had to move hotels because of badness and that fact it was decently and well cleaned. And far too hot as no air con and only one room had a fan."

"The hotel is four stories with no air conditioning and no elevator. There are signs in the bathroom saying their water is not drinkable. We resented having to walk back down the stairs and to the bodega to buy water just so we could brush our teeth."

"I love my little single room! I did have to take my suitcase up three flights of stairs but the sweet little room with compact private bathroom/amenities is a fitting reward. :) Also, they kindly stored my luggage prior to check in time so I could explore the city and the two ladies I spoke with on reception were very helpful and friendly. :)"
