"Great pub, music and atmosphere, staff are great too. This was a 5 Star rating until food was delivered to the table next to us in the snug area of the bar. The smell of the food was overwhelming and spoilt our experience. There is a large restaurant area (which was empty) where these people should have been advised to sit. I really feel the drinking and eating experience should be separate in this pub for everyone's comfort."

"I booked the restaurant area for my best friend's surprise birthday (20+) The team were amazing from the start and couldn't be more accommodating. On the evening the staff were friendly, professional and most of all quick with our food. On the food, it was superb. I would highly recommend the George and Dragon."

"The pub has been beautifully renovated and has a nice vibe.The food was good, although a bit overpriced. The only letdown was the service. The staff need a bit of training on how to smile and be pleasant…with the exception of our waitress Angela, who was lovely and attentive. Would recommend."

"Booked a room and mistaken the dates, admitted it was my fault however they had no compassion or offer to give me a refund even for the breakfast that we didn't eat. Communicating was good over email until I realised my room was booked on the wrong dates. Got what they wanted and forgotten about me. Could of handled the situation a lot better."

"Booked Sunday lunch for 10 people in the private room you can go round the houses with complicated reviews but one word fantastic, food, service attention to detail all great. Sunday roast sharing platters, vegetables and the best Yorkshire puddings ever- thank you Savannah and all the staff for you attention to detail and making it a fabulous Sunday Lunch - we will be back very soon. Doug and Mel"
