“Fantastic food and service at The Horse & Jockey yesterday. The pub was extremely busy and the staff had full control ensuring everything ran smootly during the Christmas period which was nice too see. Nothing was too much to ask for. Will definitely be going back soon and highly recommend. Very impressed.”

“Family of 4 went here at 6pm for a meal. Staff were friendly and food part is run separately from the pub. We had 4 great meals, lamb saag was £7, regular mixed grill £8, large mixed grill £12, kebab wrap £5, naam bread £1! Great value, all the meat was cooked to perfection with large portions. Will return but maybe eat in the extension at the back of the pub as when we left the pub was getting rather busy.”

“I love grapes its nice pub where food is served in different room and pub I'd in other room. Calm atmosphere. Staff is very polite and helpful. Food is very well cooked (meat is cooked to perfection) and they have good size portions for reasonable prices. Thank you for lovely meal as always.”

“Very helpful staff. I ordered my drink before asking if it was possible to pay by card and unfortunately you can't pay by card as of yet. They did direct me to the nearest cash point and placed my drink In the fridge unroll I got back. They also told me where a second cash point was in case the nearest cash point was not working. Recap very friendly staff and customers would definitely recommend”

“Visited today with my family, for Sunday lunch service was outstanding, the manager was very friendly and polite and some how managed to get me to go large on a roast dinner! Food was delicious and hot and great value for money even tho she got me to order a go large. My waitress was friendly and polite and made sure I had everything I needed she recommended the crumble for dessert. The kids enjoyed watching the TVs and they even put cbeebies on for the kids. Will definitely go again.”

“We came over for food tonight as a last minute decision. We managed to grab a table straight away. We tried the two new Xmas cocktails recommended by Judy on the bar (snowball colada’s), suffice to say they were banging! Food was really quick (starters and mains) wine selection really varied and a great price. I’m not a fan of cheese but they managed to get both my starter and main without it without any issues. It’s a really lovely pub inside, staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. The Christmas decorations look amazing.”

“The staff were so very welcoming they provided my husband who uses a wheelchair with a suitable chair to aid his comfort and the ability to push up from made our first outing a pleasurable one and the Prosecco was a lovely touch the meals were also lovely definitely recommend this pub to all age groups look forward to our next visit. We only caught the name of one of the staff Tracey but as I mentioned all the staff were extremely welcoming.”
