“Okay, so check-in was incredibly easy and efficient. Our room was fantastic. We had asked for an upgrade but it wasn’t available but even so the room was absolutely lovely, bed incredibly comfortable, room spacious with seating, bathroom luxurious so doing great. The star of the show though was the chap who came to serve us free appetisers and petit fours during dinner. He was so enthusiastic about what the chefs had done, very knowledgeable and delighted when we passed on our compliments - he helped make the meal an experience. In fact that is how I would describe our visit. We were in Glasgow for what was not the best of reasons - nothing excessive just a somewhat stressful situation and most times in hotels it is a case of putting up with minor irritations but our stay was short here but we will be back because it was ‘an experience ‘ a very enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing one thanks to the hotel itself, the excellent dining experience, the drinks helped, and the staff were fantastic.”

“By far the best option compared to other places food is much better here as well compared to other places I loved the recliner seats and leg space is great close proximity walk towards city centre and had good amount of good places near it to decide what to eat after the movie. Great service and fast service as well enjoyed all my visits to odeon.”

“We had a really nice experience at Cote Glasgow, and we will go back when in Glasgow again. We went before going to the Theatre. We arrived on time and were warmly greeted, and taken to be seated and were given a choice of 2 tables to sit at. Our server was Kieran, who was professional and had a good sense of humour and was attentive. In fact all the staff were very nice, attentive & professional. The restraunt had a nice ambiance and atmosphere. All the food we had over the 3 courses was very nice. The time between ordering and each course being served, was almost perfectly timed. We had Calemari & Crab Maison for starters. Both were excellent. We had a Fouggasse bread with the starters which was really nice , but could have been a little crisper for our taste and it was a lot bigger than we expected. Fish Parmentier & 10oz Ribeye for Mains with sides of French Beans & Potato Gratin. The mains were very nice. We finished off with Creme Caramel and Praline Crepe. Creme Caramel was enjoyed, but I found the Crepe to be far too sweet for my taste. My only criticism would be about the Optional Gratuity, that was not optional. When we arrived we were told it was payment by card only, which was fine. We enjoyed everything with the meal and our time in Cote, so we wanted to leave a 15% tip, but when I asked if we could add that on to the bill, I was told it was not necessary as there was a 12.5% optional gratuity added already to the bill. It can't be optional if it's already added without being asked. We did not notice this on the bill, as we thought it was good value, and we were prepared to add 15% on top of the bill total for the excellent food and service. If it is optional as it states, then please ask the patrons before adding it to the bill, otherwise it's not optional. having said that the staff thoroughly deserve it. but others who maybe are on a budget might not appreciate it, as there is no mention of it anywhere on the website nor on the menu that I could see. The only place I found it, was on the bottom of the receipt stating the website and service charge. If i had known or been informed, I would have happily asked for it to have the gratuity changed to 20%, but that should be our option. Can't wait to go back.”

“Snug, good whiskey selection and pleasant place to stop awhile. Went there on a Fri night, the rest of the bars were rammed but found an empty barstool here and a comfortable atmosphere so sat for a while, on my own, enjoying the reccomemded whiskey that the barman had expertly offered”

“When here for lunch after a visit to the nearby University of Glasgow. Had the Cluck Norris and the Patriot. Both burgers were very delicious, prepared with good quality ingredients. The staff were very pleasant and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. There's also the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum right opposite.”

“Stayed here with family. A nice garden - not so much for young kids as it's a bit boring. But the rooms are nice and the bathtub was amazing. Breakfast is good - loved the scones. Nice resting area downstairs, friendly personel. Nice book selection.”

“Ideally placed in the City, car park only 5 minutes walk away. Online booking in and out makes life even simpler. Good and popular bar area, good choice of drinks. Friendly staff, reception very helpful. Nice dining room, had two course meal at very reasonable price. Food well presented and tasted good. Typical busy City hotel which gave a nice vibe, but very quiet at night (obviously well sound proofed). Will use again.”

“A hotel I'd be happy to return to. The room was clean with all the facilities I'd expect from a 4 Star hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the location is very central giving easy access to bus, subway, and rail services. I found it an ideal base from which to explore the city.”

“Nice atmosphere inside with good music playing. Service was great even though it was a really busy night. I would advise to pre-book your table as it does get busy quick. We went for the Thunderdog and a side of Loaded chips with buffalo chicken which was nice and spicy. We also got the buttermilk fried chicken burger with a side of salt and pepper chips which was very good and the chicken was a big size. We ordered 2 rounds of drinks, 1 alcoholic and 1 non alcoholic and the bill came to around £50 which was quite reasonable. We will be back in the future.”

“Purchased an itison deal for burgers, fries and beer. Wasn't too sure what to expect but we were really impressed. Children are allowed too which is fab so we were able to take our girls with us. The burgers are immense! I had the buffalo chicken burger and it was absolutely delicious. Sides of Mac and cheese and pickles were great too. Also, who knew deep fried Oreos were one of the most amazing desserts? They are soooo tasty!! Our servers were super friendly and so helpful. We will definitely be back.”

“Have to say I have been staying here on and of for the last few years and the Manager David and his team work well together, the hotel is in a great location at the West end in a quiet street the food is also amazing and they have a great wee bar for that Nightcap before bed ,rooms always clean and fresh on arrival ,as I travel a lot I like to stay at a nice and clean hotel and this one is always a pleasure to return to and deserves 10 stars thanks again to the Manager David and his team for always making me feel welcome *****PS Also the best place for Christmas dinner with your Family .”

“On the long walk to Hampden from the city centre we were desperate for a pit stop and ducked in here, what a great decision that was. Bar was full of locals but the staff were absolutely fantastic considering we were complete strangers, so friendly and helpful, absolutely amazing. We loved our 2 hours in here so much it was a real wrench to leave for the match! Outstanding pub, we will be back.”

“Prices for the sweets and snacks were the usual extortionate, but expected. The cinema itself was large and looked clean. The picture hall was very spacious and the reclining chairs are fantastic, just don't go if you're tired! All in all it was a good experience and I'll use this place again.”

“It’s a lovely place, a absolute 10/10! The rooms were clean with their IHG promise, and they even gave us a cup of tea at arrival (the water boiler was stained though :( ). Overall a fantastic stay with a beautiful architecture. Nice position next to a restaurant. The buffet was lovely, with a well-designed English breakfast. There also were some fruits and fruit salad that you could have with yogurt. A nutritious breakfast for a hotel! The service here is perfect! In Scotland it’s great! They helped us when we checked out with our luggage! A lovely place, in the center of Glasgow.”
