"I already had my glasses prescription and was just trying to find a place to get glasses, I had went to a few places before here and the customer service I received was non existent. It is hard for me to find glasses due to face shape and can be overwhelming, but as soon as I walked into Shopko optical I was happily greeted by Ms Bridget. She was immediately determined to make me feel good about myself and find me glasses I loved. She matched my energy and made me feel comfortable. She was extremely patient with me through the whole process. Very happy with my experience, prices were a bit higher than what I had been previously used to but my glasses came with in 3 days and I'm very pleased."

"I've been to the West Side location, but since I moved to the East Side, I went to this location for my latest vision Rx. The staff is very friendly and personable and made sure to answer any questions and engage in humorous small talk. The optometrist was very thorough in making sure that I had the right glasses Rx and that I had a few pairs of contacts to test my Rx for contacts. My optician, Bridget, did a wonderful job making sure I felt welcome. She communicated prices and offered feedback to how the test lenses looked on my face; all being well within my insurance and budget constraints. Her knowledge of how the insurance billing works and her innate sense of physical aesthetics (and honesty) affirmed that I was picking out the right pair for my facial structure and personal style. I don't normally buy eye glasses from the optometrist, but I felt comfortable buying this pair and did not feel like I had to spend any money that I didn't want to. I had originally thought about getting a pair off Zenni optical (which has been a wonderful option for me and continues to be so) but I found a pair at Shopko that looked similar to what I had in mind and was able to try on in person. With the deals Bridget introduced me to, I was able to pay around a similar price I would have paid online. Because I have such poor eyesight, I would pay extra for the lenses themselves anyways, even from online retailers. I didn't feel rushed at Shopko and I think that the care I received has made in person eye glass shopping a little less scuzzy and more of an informed decision. I would recommend going and speaking openly about price constraints. They are very real people and I appreciate that."
