"The people at the Carbone Center were very concerned and helpful. Everything went efficiently and everyone was caring and professional. Dr. Zhang and her staff were the best. They always made sure I understood what was going on and were available available to answer questions."

"Staff is wonderful! Today's chemo nurse, Lily, is a treasure!!! Wish wait time after appointment time check-in could be shorter. Even more important: chemo area bathrooms need hot water available to patients for washing hands. Oxaliplatin is an issue for reactions to cold."

"I give all staff and providers a 5 star rating … but the ones in charge, making the decisions based on metrics and money, who likely have no clue what is happening on the front line of patient care …. They get a 1 star! My family member has been a patient at UW Carbone for 7 years. His providers (support staff included) have ALWAYS been fantastic in every way. Over the last year we’ve noticed the clinic in general busier and busier. Almost difficult to find a parking spot on some days. We’ve also noticed the Carbone Clinic busier as we’ve had to wait a little longer to be called back and to see the doctor. This week, we had to wait 45 minutes past the appointment time to even be called back. THEN, waited another 75 minutes before the doc came! They were very apologetic and thankfully transparent in telling us that he had 18 appointment slots available for the day but he was scheduled 26 patients anyway…. And that is becoming the norm. To the UW employee in charge of responding to these reviews, I sure hope that these reviews get shared with senior leadership. You have a canned response that is exactly the same with every single review and it means nothing. WE ALL want to hear WHAT you are going to do to resolve our poor experiences. HOW is UW going to fix this problem? What are you doing to prove that patient experience is so important to you?"

"I have an incredible team supporting me. Dr. West is incredible, she listens, is compassionate, honest, understanding and very supportive. I feel blessed that I am her patient and she is walking me through the toughest of days. All the nurses are amazing, sweet, kind, and comforting. To be close to Carbone and receive their care, I am so grateful."
