Formerly the Sister Bay Baptist Church, Maple Manor has a rich history dating back to 1882 when the property was donated by J.J. Wiltse. The church was demolished in 1916 and rebuilt, before a new church was constructed on Hwy 42 in 1975. In 2001, Kurt Reetz purchased and renovated the old church into a second home for his family. In November 2018, Maple Manor was purchased by new owners who have added a finished basement, increasing the capacity to sleep 22 guests.
