The Blue Hills Genealogical Society - Barron County, Inc. Research Room is a non-profit organization located at 410 East La Salle Avenue in Barron, Wisconsin. We are dedicated to helping individuals research their Barron County ancestors and preserving genealogical records relevant to the area. Our President is Gloria Dobberfuhl, Vice-President is Carol Moen, Treasurer is Sandy Tomczak, and Secretary is Carol Halverson. Membership options are available for those interested in joining the Society, with fees applicable for on-site and off-site research. We also offer Pioneer and Century Certificate programs to recognize individuals descended from Barron County pioneers. Youth can apply for a Jr. Family Historian certificate by documenting their family history.
