Kathy opened Grandma’s Toy Box in 2008, which has since experienced continued growth and led to the opening of a second store, Eagle Craft & Hobby, in 2014. Grandma’s Toy Box is situated in the old Gaffney/Stallman/Hyslop furniture store, right across from Vilas Cinema, while Eagle Craft & Hobby is located next door in the historic Eagle Theater building. The store also houses “Bauer’s Rock Shop”, continuing the family tradition of retail in Eagle River.

The US Army Corps of Engineers Blackhawk Park is a beautiful campground, lodging, and park located at E590 Blacktop Road in De Soto, Wisconsin. Situated on a forested bend of the main channel of the Mississippi River, this park is the largest public use facility in Mississippi's Pool 9, offering a wide variety of recreational activities. With 150 campsites, including 73 with electrical hookups, the campground provides a comfortable and convenient stay for visitors. Flush toilets and showers are available in the West Camping loop, and amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, a beach, two picnic shelters, boat ramps, playgrounds, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and fishing docks are also provided.
