Woodland Creek Community Park

This park is a popular tourist attraction offering covered picnic shelters with barbecue grills, restrooms, play equipment, natural trails, and paved walkways. The stunning Woodland Creek flows through the property, with Longs Pond as a focal point. The park is also home to the Lacey Community Center, the Lacey Senior Center, and the historic “White House,” which host various recreation programs and events. The Community Center is available for rental for meetings, receptions, and other functions. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a fourteen-hole disc golf course, driving range, and putting green within the park. Please note that boating, flotation devices, and swimming are not allowed in Longs Pond as per Ordinance No.781 approved by the Lacey Park Board in 1996. The City of Lacey purchased 70 acres of land at the site in 1991, and over the years, various facilities and amenities have been added to enhance the park experience. Longs Pond features a year-round fishing pond and dock, which is open during park hours. No fishing license is required for anglers who are under 15 years old, over 70 years old, or have a designated harvester companion card for anglers with disabilities.
