Please note that boating, flotation devices, and swimming are not allowed in Longs Pond as per Ordinance No.781 approved by the Lacey Park Board in 1996. The City of Lacey purchased 70 acres of land at the site in 1991, and over the years, various facilities and amenities have been added to enhance the park experience. Longs Pond features a year-round fishing pond and dock, which is open during park hours. No fishing license is required for anglers who are under 15 years old, over 70 years old, or have a designated harvester companion card for anglers with disabilities.
