"Trifecta!… great food, service, and atmosphere. This was only my second lobster roll (in my life). I found this one (warm/buttered/Connecticut-style) to be better than my first (cold/traditional style). (This could simply be a personal style preference.) Mason’s was more affordable, too! The natural light and friendly service I experienced secures a top score."
"Sherry served up our Bar Harbor Connecticut Rolls and lobster bisque with some food for the landlubber with us (grilled cheese, hot dog, mac and cheese, and tots) quick and fresh and she is great at what she does. She asked questions to make our experience even more enjoyable. We asked for extra butter sauce and the lemon butter sauce with our extra lobster as well as our bisque were both absolutely scrumptious. The views along the water are breathtaking! This is not a place to be missed! Yum!"
"I’ve had lobster rolls all over and these were solid and delicious. We had the bacon lobster roll and the Lobster salad roll. Price was reasonable and the lobster was fresh. Location was a little tucked away but worth once you make it inside."
"Never had a lobster roll, so not much to judge it by, but I do know what a good meaty sandwich looks like. This one, I added extra lobster which cost more obviously. I always thought a lobster roll was two buns like a sandwich so not sure if they split the bun the way they do it is true style or just to make it look like you getting more lobster. Overall it was good, but left me still wanting more meat. Also, the tip thing is getting out of hand and I noticed the way it defaults to 15% or 20%...can't remember but the dude up front is just taking your order so you don't need to tip him much if at all. Took my food outside and ate in the little covered area. Place is spendy and I think my sandwich about about 30 bucks so I didn't get anything to drink."
"Tasty! It's the kind of place you kind of know what you're getting into, solid food and friendly staff. We got the bar harbor lobster roll with the lobster tail and the lobster salad (which we actually both liked more! Felt more substantial in a way with the different flavors and textures). Making it a combo with chips and drinks, we had a solid dinner and enjoyed ourselves. It is a pricier meal for a casual place, but good food is good food. We would come back! The lady who took our order was also so friendly and welcoming. She took the time to describe the menu since it was obvious it was our first time there."
