"Came here for the first time for my birthday with a friend and we had the absolute best time. The food was fantastic, the bread basket was the best in the city and the cocktails were some of the best we have had in the city. Our server was Lola and they had the most amazing recommendations as well as just being the absolute best and most attentive server. We will be back to try and list of dishes that Lola gave us very soon!"

"Beautiful venue. The food was excellent, but the service definitely didn't meet expectations for the price point. We arrived a few minutes early for an 8:00 weeknight reservation and weren't seated until 8:15. The entire place was jam packed, so we were getting jostled by people coming and going; there was no hope of getting anywhere near the bar for a drink while waiting. After being seated service was slow but acceptable. We ate plenty of seafood, and I would definitely recommend the escargot. Noise level was very high, to the point it was hard to make casual conversation. It's worth going once to check the place out, but I won't be coming back. There is just as good of food in DC for $200+ per person with light-years better service."

"This is a must eat place if you love French cuisine and you’re visiting Washington DC like us. The food, the atmosphere took us right back to Paris :) Every dish was so good. The truffle spaghetti was my daughter’s most favorite dish in the city. The beef tartare, onion soup were great appetizers and then the branzino and the ravioli and warm shrimp salad were amazing as well. Highly Recommend!"

"What’s the rave about?? Visited for Christmas Eve dinner. The interior is nice but dated. The food was good but basic-felt like I was at a chain restaurant-nothing stood out as “WOW” but the food was good. The service-some of the worst. I am not sure what I tipped for? Zero service-Zero friendliness. Waiter took my order- no conversation, No recommendations-I felt like I was at a diner placing an order. A runner dropped off the food. The waiter brought my check. That was my entire interaction. They were not that busy-and even if they were, they should still have focused on food quality and service standards. For these reasons I would say the restaurant is sub-par."

"This was my first visit to Le Dip. I enjoyed the Christmas decor and friendly staff from the start. It was loud inside and sometimes hard to have a conversation. I started with a lemon drop and it was very tasty. The bread basket and butter were also very good. As for the food, it was very good, high quality-house made items. My favorite things were the onion soup, escargot, and ravioli. My least favorite was the mushroom tart. It was too mush “tart” and not enough toppings in my opinion. Other than that it was a good time."
