"Words cannot even describe the traumatic and near medical negligence I received from this office. To begin my husband and I were first time pregnant and were very excited. I went for my initial appointment and bloodwork to establish care and pregnancy. I was told by my provider I would have my results by Friday of that week but did not receive them til Wednesday night of the following week. After relentlessly calling and emailing and virtually begging I was read the results by another provider who simply said "your pregnancy is not viable" no bedside manner and no kindness. Of course this is something that is not in their control, but to be nice with me would have meant the world right there. Then the following day I was prescribed antibiotics for a UTI they had discovered at my original appointment on Tuesday of the previous week, the office let me sit with a UTI for over a week which could have easily become a kidney infection. Lastly, I went in for bloodwork on a Saturday morning and proceeded to miscarry in their restroom at their office, the provider on duty that morning refused to see me, instead I had to ask the nurse to ask the doctor what I should take for the pain, she ran and asked and continued to do that with all of my questions. Instead of the provider coming in to check if I was okay they sent the nurse back and forth. At one point I asked “how much blood should I expect; what is normal? And the answer from the nurse was “if you feel like it’s too much blood then go to the hospital”. As someone who has never been pregnant and never experienced this, just to be talked through it would have made it so much less traumatic. What would have taken the doctor 3 mins to check was clearly too much of a bother. In that hard and extremely painful moment about women made me feel alone"

"I love this place. Everyone is nice and pleasant. I actually feel like my concerns are being heard and that they don't see me as just another patient. And shout out to Ms. Sharita at the front desk who is amazing and always has good energy."

"Stay away from this place AT ALL COSTS and more specifically, avoid any appointments with Laurie Carpenter. This office operates without SOPs (standard operating procedures), there is consistent miscommunication, and they will order completely unnecessary tests/procedures and refuse to clarify any questions. For my first pregnancy, this should have been an exciting and enjoyable experience, but the mismanagement and incompetency at this office made the first few weeks of this pregnancy a complete nightmare. I would not recommend this obgyn to anyone."

"Okay, so I've been at several GYN places in Stafford and Dumfries area, and this is The Place! Excellent customer service, fast calls back, faster orders for exams, referrals, etc., and the most important thing, they have availability late in the day, which is a necessary option for working people. Kudos to the administrative team! I think it is an essential part of a successful team work."

"Found this place after my OBGYN retired. Pros: Office is clean. Stephanie the FNP is support nice! Visits are quick. The nurses are to the point but friendly and listen to ensure you & the baby are doing well. First visit you receive a cute welcome bag. Cons: the front desk rep isn’t the most inviting person. I was charged a $1 because I forgot my face mask. My CS is scheduled for next week and I don’t know who the doctor will be. In the Stafford location for pregnancy you don’t meet your doctor (at least I haven’t) so if your one of those that wants to build a report with your doctor this location isn’t for you. I’m truly satisfied with Stephanie and this is my last pregnancy so it isn’t a big deal to me."
