"Very interesting historical structure near Kanawha canal and James River trails. It would be great to renovate the inside to utilize this lovely place by the James River. Hike west along the trail to Washington's Arch. Signage is spotty but you can find Hx on your phone"
"George Washington dined here at the only remaining slave-built stone arches on the Kanawha Canal. This is a great relaxing place to stroll in the winter when the greenery has died back. Summer is a bit overgrown."
