The Spanglish Mexican Restaurant

"Ok. Seriously. Come here and just eat their chips and salsa. What an amazing flavor. The salsa they bring to the table is called arranchera. And it is the best salsa I've ever had. You're gonna be tempted to drink what's left... Just saying. If you want more than the complimentary serving, though, you'll be paying $4.99. The tacos Al pastor are nearly perfect. The pork isn't rubbery or like jerky. It is perfectly cooked alongside the pineapple. The carne asada taco was a close second in deliciousness. The enchilada, beans and rice were very good as well. Apparently the fish tacos are amazing but we didn't try them this time. We will be back!"

"The reviews railed me in, but I was disappointed in this place. 1st of all, our service was horrible. I had to share a napkin with the person I was with because our server kept forgetting to bring some. Second the aguas are 4.00 for a 16oz glass and no refills. They only offer bottled sodas for 3.00. The nachos had very little meat and not worth the price. The LA dog was small not like an original LA dog- disappointing and the side of fries was 4.00 and you don’t get many. We left hungry and was this place is definitely over priced for what you get. Also they do offer free chips and salsa but it was also small, about two chips per person and we had 3 in our group. Bring a nice warm jacket too because they had no heat in the establishment and it was 30 degrees outside. I almost forgot they have a Elon Musk picture in the men’s restroom with a statement in which I consider greed. Not the place for something like this because now it all makes sense!"

"Showed up at 12:20. Finally received our food at 1:30. Chips and salsa were good but come in very small portions. (See photo). When the waitress came over to take our order, the music was so loud she couldn't hear me or my wife. I ordered an al pastor burrito wet (smothered), and it came with green Ortega style taco sauce all over it. Not a great flavor mixed with pastor. Mostly full of rice and beans. Very little meat. Wife ordered nachos and asked for no salsa. It came with salsa and wad very soggy. (See photo). After we received our food, the waitress came over within a few minutes to drop the bill. Then the host came over a few minutes later to see if we were ready to pay. When he came by the second time to ask for it (it was as if they were afraid we were gonna run out on the bill) I told him no but he could take my plate. He looked at me like he had no idea what to do. When we finished eating I gave the waitress my card, which she brought back for me to sign without a pen."

"Wow! We've been meaning to go to this place for so long and are so sad we haven't gone before now! This place is fantastic, the salsa was some of the best I've ever had, the flavored waters taste like smoothies you get on a beach, the birria was 10/10. Absolutely incredible food, like I think it's our favorite Mexican restaurant we have ever been too, we wanna go back for dinner! They moved to a new place so now there are tons of places to sit so I expect you will not have a hard time finding a seat. The service was incredible as well! The atmosphere felt so authentic that if I blocked the outside windows it would feel like I was in Mexico! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for some good authentic fresh Mexican food!"

"Same amazing food in a brand new, beautiful restaurant! The owners are so incredibly kind. You truly can taste the pride and love they put into the food. The shrimp and fish tacos, ordered extra crispy, are the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The quesabirria tacos, also ordered extra crispy, are fantastic as well! The nacho esquites app is delicious, with fresh made thick chips that scoop up the corn and cheese very well! This restaurant will continue to be a family favorite!!! The owners even made a special tea to help my brother with his sore throat. Probably one of the best teas I’ve had with mango and pineapple."
