"Fast service, food was ok. Staff really nice. Their sweet bread was a Lil stale. Update: my coworkers & I order breakfast tacos from here daily & I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen as far as hair nets . However , I found a hair in my taco . I was very disappointed & when I called them to let them know the lady seemed like she did not care & was in a rush to hang up with me. She did Apologize & said will let him know ."

"Wonderful and unexpected place to get a great lunch! What seems like a hole in the wall place, seems to be where I find the most flavorful food and experience! The staff are super friendly and welcoming! Fast service and a great meal! The chips were crispy, salsa was well balanced and not overpowered with cilantro like most places! I ordered the Mexican plate and chose chicken enchiladas and double crispy tacos! The tacos stayed crispy throughout the meal and never got soggy like most do, the enchiladas were filled with flavorful chicken! Definitely got my money worth! Tortillas were outstanding and in my top 3 of best in San Antonio!"

"Flour tortillas are thick and homemade. The potatoes in the papas rancheras were undercooked and gross. The guisada is pretty decent, the cheese is processed cheese. The chips cost extra before 11am. Overall I can understand why a neighborhood local might like it but I won’t be back. There is better food around San Pedro."

"Ate here for the first time, food was average, portion sizes were average, prices were average with plates around $8-12. Arrived a bit late, think it was 2:15.. not sure if they still have lunch specials or when they end, but none when I arrived. Food came out after a short wait. Everything was decent, but nothing was fantastic. Tried the enchiladas and puffy taco combo plate. Service was so-so.. waited a bit for a refill on my drink. Overall nothing stood out, and everything was just average. Not sure there was anything to bring me back, aside from the prospect they may have some cheap lunch specials."

"We showed up around 10AM on a Sunday with three people and said we would have at least four more, or maybe eleven more. They didn't blink. They have a big table in the back that seats 10, which they gave us, and we eventually had nine. The place was packed by 10:30, but service was great. The food was all delicious. The corn tortillas are made there and were excellent. Prices were totally reasonable. Definitely want to go back."
