“My friend and I found CSR kinda by accident. When we pulled in, the restaurant was already in full swing "dinner" mode. They sat us (and my Service Animal, "Chip") right away. The deep fried mushrooms were the highlight (for me). INCREDIBLE! I had the pick 3 combo, and it was delicious. The cheesecake is made "in house" which was a pleasant surprise! I dunno how I got in it all in my stomach, but I did! Outstanding service!!! I wish I could give Alex R. 6 stars! She was so friendly and product knowledgeable. She even stopped a few times, just to engage in friendly chat while we waited for our meals. I observed ALL of the staff staying busy and taking care of guests, together! That's not very common in restaurants, and it was nice to see. We will definitely be returning there to dine again! I saw fish tacos on the menu, so that's probably what I'll be having next time. “This place is such a gem! Located right next to Eastciders and Friends & Allies Brewing, it’s easy to grab a snack and a pint or a cider flight. The chicken tenders were amazing. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but we had the weekend special— a chicken tender on a bagel (I picked jalepeno cheddar) with cream cheese and it was religious-experience good. The breading on the chicken is flavorful, crunchy and delicious but doesn’t taste greasy or overly fried. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. We also tried a bunch of their sauces, all of which were homemade. My favorites were the blood orange soy glaze and the red curry. We also had a blackberry hibiscus s’more (they make their own marshmallow) and even though I’m usually a take-a-couple-bites of dessert person and then I give the rest to my husband, I think he got maybe one bite in before I devoured the whole thing. We learned that the chef has a background in fancy gourmet kitchens…and it shows! Absolutely would recommend to anyone rolling through the eastside.”

We especially love the pad kee mao, the curries, the fried rice, and the spring rolls! The food is always hot, fresh, and very tasty. Highly recommend! My favorite restaurant ever!”

One CAVEAT of the Won Ton is the serving size is small for the price. Other places range from $3.50 (same size) to $7.50 (huge bowl @ 3x at BeiFang off IH10 & Huebner) Love the Won Ton Soup (9) clean broth. I usually add more pepper. Taste fresh! I'll admit sometimes I'll sometimes order two bowls. Egg Rolls (9) w/Sweet & Sour sauce - Crispy, Hot, and Fresh, always! Spring Rolls w/Shrimp (8): Love these babies! They're always fresh and definitely love how the peanut dipping sauce tastes. Mongolian Beef (8): Tasty, meat was tender. Canned Sodas (10): Can't go wrong! Ice (9): Tastes clean and fresh, no aftertaste. Tea (6): At times, I will order, but typically order another drink as the taste can sometimes be off. Service (9) is almost always pleasant. Atmosphere (9) is clean and simple, small, and gets packed when it gets busy. There are a plethora of to-go orders every time I'm there. Location (7) is great but parking and traffic in the parking lot can be tricky. Overall, always worth the stop! I've probably been here over a dozen times and have only had one inconsistency on one occasion.
