Omar Salazar: Allstate Insurance

"I tried to contact ANY Allstate toll free phone no. on "Black Friday" 11-24-23 around noon MST and all I could get is the same male Robot Voice that insisted on pinning me down to a set of options that did not fit my situation, and when I tried to tell this Robot to just transfer me to a LIVE PERSON in Customer Service, it just transferred me to the Salazar office (apparently picking up where/who I was from my cell phone) that had a female voice mail only and no live person, and after calling the toll free nos. again, the Robot simply hung up on me. This all wasted over an hour of my time and was an unbelievably annoying experience. When I have called the Salazar office in the past and no one is in (apparently they took a four-day Thanksgiving holiday) the call was automatically transferred to a live person at a national Allstate call center. This time - on Black Friday which is NOT a national holiday - someone with Allstate just decided to transfer you to a Robot that you cannot communicate with and simply hangs up on you if you get frustrated. Some LIVE PERSON needs to fix this problem so next time the local office is out/closed, you get transferred to a live person at the national call center customer service office and not to a robot. Fortunately, there is still competition in the private auto insurance industry and consumers like me can go elsewhere if this problem persists."

"Great customer service ovet the phone. Mailed the information I needed to have pretty fast. Very friendly over the phone conversation."

"Canceled my insurance with them last year. They called twice to ask if I wanted to get auto insurance with my "multiple policy discount" and I told them I had canceled to which they claimed I had not, that it was still active. I told them tonight that I had no such policy, checked my escrow and could verify with my loan servicing company that I had no escrow payments issued to them. Girl insisted that they would be renewing my policy and that I had to send them documentation to prove I didn't have a policy. Look at the reviews, these people are scammers and thieves. Reporting to BBB and to the main Allstate company."

"These people are not looking for anything more than to make a commission off of your policy. I kept getting calls and messages from Javier, when I finally answered and I politely said I wasn't interested in switching he hung up without even a word. I am not sure how they got my information as I have not looked for a new insurance quote in over 6 years."

"When I went in person. The customer service was really good. When you call nobody answers. Like what's going on? Do they not know. But I ended up calling the main number to allstate to get my problem solved."
